The molecular lab is located on the second floor of the Gump Station main research building. It offers four bench spaces for individual work with surrounding countertops for equipment and shared use. Equipped to do basic molecular work, from DNA extraction to PCR and gel electrophoresis (with a dedicated EtBr area), it is used primarily for Biocode related research. Much of the extraction work is done on the BioSprint 96 robot, which allows for high through put with its 96 well plate extractions method. You can find a full inventory of the Molecular lab equipment under this link.
